| We recently learned about a resource right here in Carroll County that we wanted to make sure our members, fellow first responders, and their families knew about.
Operation Second Stride, located at Renaissance Farm in Taneytown, offers equine-assisted programming designed to support first responders through connection, resilience, and emotional well-being. Their program provides a low-pressure environment where participants work with horses from the ground—no riding involved—and is offered at no cost to participants. WBAL-TV
Those who serve others are often present for people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Resources that provide a place to breathe, reset, and take care of the person behind the uniform matter, too.
We are fortunate to have a program like this available right here in our own community, and we wanted to help spread the word. You never know who may see a shared resource at exactly the time they need it.
