The Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of long time member Charles Edward Davidson.

Davidson, 72, formerly of Carroll County, resident of Lake Frederick, Virginia, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, August 4, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Eddie, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was a 1970 graduate of Westminster High School and served in the Army National Guard from 1972-1978. In 1986, he began his career with Baltimore County Fire Department and retired in 2017 as a Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator.

In the past, he served Reese VFC as President, EMS Captain, and was a long time participant of the Reese VFC Softball team.

Viewing will be Friday, August 9th 5 to 7 PM and Saturday 10 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11AM at Rosedale Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va.
