On Sunday, May 19th at approximately 5:09 pm Carroll County 911 received a call of an explosion in the garage and it is now on fire. Companies from Reese, Gamber, Westminster, Machester, Hampstead, Pleasent Valley, CCDFEMS, and Baltimore County responded. Chief 9-1 was first on scene and advised a barn fire, fully involved, with no exposures.

Chief 9 arrived on scene and assumed command. Water supply was set up at a nearby bridge. Firefighters had the fire under control and extinguished. Extensive overhaul was completed to ensure the fire was completely extinguished. MDE was contacted due to a fuel leak and the MD State Fire Marshal is investigating.

Units: E91, ET94, RS9, Chief 9, Chief 9-1, U9-1, Canteen 9,

Mutual Aid: Gamber, Westminster, Manchester, Hampstead, Pleasent Valley, CCDFEMS, and Baltimore County
