There are no words to express the gratitude that we at Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company have for our wonderful Community and for the Biker Community who showed up in FORCE to honor our friend and colleague Robert "Bobby" Jones during the Inaugural Robert "Bobby" Jones Memorial Ride today!
Thank you to Michele and Scott Dickson of Hogs and Heroes Foundation, Inc. MD-6 for their vision and commitment in planning and execution of this Memorial Ride. The members of Hogs And Heroes Foundation America - National, and various other Biker groups/ chapters for their participation and support, American Bikers on a Mission for providing the Color Guard, Westminster Fire Department for proving the flag over Rt 140, to Carroll County Sheriff's Office - Maryland for the escort, Hampstead Police Department, Maryland for the VIP treatment as we rode though town. Upperco Volunteer Fire Company and Hereford Volunteer Fire Company for road blocking in Baltimore County, Digital Diadem for the still and drone photography, Carroll County Government Maryland - Carroll County Commissioner Richard Weaver, Plum Haze for the beautiful tribute plaque of Bobby. MISSION BBQ Westminster, Texas Roadhouse - Westminster, Main Street Market, Deli And Catering. All of the Raffle Basket Donors for their amazing generosity!
To the RVFC Members, Staff and especially the Auxiliary for the amazing meal and for their assistance today, to Sterling Quality Water, VFW Post 467 & Auxiliary, RVFC Chaplin Sam Mann and American Bikers on a Misson for their generous cash donations... but most importantly to all of the Riders who gave of their time and money to be part of this Memorial Ride in honor of our Friend! We are MOST Grateful!
All of the funds raised today will go to a Scholarship in Bobby's name to help the next generation of first responders at Reese!
