At 7:23 AM this morning, Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a truck fire in the 2700 block of Emory Road at Barrick Quarry in Finksburg (Reese Box 9-6).

Engine 9-1 and Engine Tanker 9-4 arrived on scene to find the cab of a large dump truck engulfed in heavy flames. RVFC Crews quickly extinguished the fire using a combination of water and foam from Engine 9-1 and water supply from Engine Tanker 9-4. Thankfully no additional property was damaged.

Engine 13-4 from Gamber & Community Fire Company was also alerted for the call.
