Fire Police Officers of the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company are volunteer fire company members. We come under direct control of the Fire Chief or OIC while in command of emergency and non-emergency fire company incidents and or functions, or the Carroll County Sheriff, local police or the Maryland State Police when they are in command of emergency and or non-emergency incidents or functions.

Fire Police Officers of the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company are organized for the purpose of providing safe and efficient traffic control protection, crowd control services for our own protection and the protection of the company/community in action; to help those who are in physical danger; provide safe travels and crowd control during non-emergency sanctioned events such as parades, group rides, funeral details, etc; provide such services that by training and equipment are authorized to do, to the end that the citizens of this community may be secure from the danger of emergencies to the best of our abilities.

The Fire Police Officers of the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company are currently looking for new officers to join and expand our ranks. No prior firefighting or fire police experience required.
