New Windsor House Burning

By Firefighter/EMT Richard Pratt
May 23, 2010

On Sunday May 24th, an Engine from Reese was invited to a house burning with New Windsor Fire Department. Reese had previously filled in for their last house burning and this time was allowed to participate.

About a dozen burn scenarios were conduted with two engine crews and a truck crew doing work each time. A crew of 5 from Engine 91 participated in about half of the burns. A lot was learned at the training especially for newer members on Engine and Truck company operations.

Many thanks to New Windsor Fire Department for allowing Reese to participate!
